The events, situations, and circumstances that take place in life are dependent on time. The phrase- time will tell, indicates the fact that time reveals every process leading to an outcome. ‘By this time’ is a very strong word of assurance and affirmation that the declaration made will certainly come to pass.
The word of God or prophecy often comes with its time of manifestation. When such pronouncements are made in the Bible, they are bound to come to fulfilment. Beloved, God’s word does not fall to the ground, it must surely come to pass. God’s word is His bond!
After the terrible famine that plagued the land of Samaria, Prophet Elisha declared the word of the Lord that *“Tomorrow about this time a seah of fine flour shall be sold for a shekel, and two seahs of barley for a shekel, at the gate of Samaria”* (2Kings 7:1). Surprisingly, one of the highest ranking officers of the king did not believe the prophecy. Listen to his faithless response of the Officer to the Prophet: *“Look, if the Lord would make windows in heaven, could this thing be?”* (2Kings 7:2). Elisha retorted: *“In fact, you shall see it with your eyes, but you shall not eat of it”*. When the word of the Lord came to pass, at the said time, the officer was put in charge to man the gate of Samaria. According to the word of the servant of God, he was trampled upon at the gate, and he died instantly (2Kings 7:20). No amount of your doubt or unbelief can stop God if He wants to do a thing. However, the earlier you believe His word the better for you. Sarah’s unbelief did not hinder the angelic pronouncement of carrying her male child. *“And He said, I will certainly return to you according to the time of life, and behold, Sarah your wife shall have a son”* (Genesis 18:10). She even laughed because she believed she had exited the productive phase of life; but with God, it was nothing to turn menopause to *“menostart”*. Is there anything you are trusting God for? I hereby declare a turnaround in that your situation NOW in Jesus name! You need to believe Him, be patient and keep trusting Him for what He has said. If God promises you something, just wait for Him; He will definitely do it. The Bible says God has exalted His word above His name. Do not listen to evil suggestions and advice from people. Hold on to God’s word concerning your life, He is always committed to His word!
Friend, you cannot be staying outside the premises and be claiming God’s promises. You need to give your life to the One who owns your today and determines your tomorrow. He will surely bring His promises to pass in your life, as you continue to do His will. God bless you richly. *Shalom*
