Favour means God stepping into one’s situation to make a worthwhile difference. It is a major highway to connect your destiny. A man cannot amount to anything in life without divine connection or contact. He who is loved by God obtains His favour. Also, favour can be referred to as exceptional kindness and privilege from God. *“And David said, is there yet any that is left of the house of Saul, that I may show kindness for Jonathan’s sake?”* (2 Samuel 9:1). Regardless of the pitiable condition of Mephiboseth, favour still spoke for him before king David.
When a man encounters God’s favour, he forgets about his many years of hard labour! Divine favour grants access into even the *“impenetrable fortress”*. The same favour that brought Esther, the poor orphan young lady, to the palace of king Ahasuerus made her the queen. Furthermore, Esther received favour to appear before the king to plead the cause of the Jewish nation from the looming annihilation plan orchestrated by Haman. It, therefore, means that favour preserves generations! I pray for you today that you will receive God’s favour for preservation of your life and household in 2022 in the mighty name of Jesus. When the Israelites wanted to leave the land of Egypt, the Lord gave them favour to receive valuables from the Egyptians. The Bible says *“… so that they granted them what they requested. Thus, they plundered the Egyptians”* (Exodus 12:36). May you obtain the favour to tap into the wealth of the gentiles in Jesus name. By His favour, God will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places (Isaiah 45:3). I announce to you today that the set time of your favour has come (Psalms 102:13). Jesus Christ was conceived by Mary, through the Holy Spirit, as a result of the favour she found with God (Luke 1:30). You will be highly favoured to receive your generational blessings in Jesus name!
Friend, you need the divine favour to receive your portion and allotment in this New Year. However, you must surrender the totality of your life to God so that He can journey with you in this year. Give your life to Jesus Christ, if you have not done so. Rededicate your life to Him, if you have backslidden. Walk uprightly before Him this year, if you are still standing for Him. May you receive the favour that will add colour, flavour and glamour to your life in Jesus name. PEACE
