The Reality in Christ

In a world filled with shifting perceptions and varying truths, the knowledge of our reality in Christ offers a profound anchor and perspective rooted in eternal truths. Our true identity is found in Christ Jesus.*"For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them"* (Eph. 2:10).

The above passage reminds us that we are God’s masterpiece, uniquely created for divine purpose. To live in the reality of Christ is to recognize and accept the truth about who we are. This truth goes above labels from the outside world, and constraints from the inside. A significant transformation is a result of being in Christ. It's about embracing a new life of freedom and purpose, and letting go of our old ways - our faults, challenges, and worries. Our souls and minds are renewed by this metamorphosis, which goes beyond an outward appearance. *“Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new”* (2 Cor. 5:17). In the gospel of John, Jesus tells us that if we keep his commands, we will remain in His love, just as He has kept the Father’s commands and remains in His love. A change of viewpoint is necessary to live in the reality of Christ. It's about not getting sucked into the transient problems and worldly diversions, but rather concentrating on spiritual realities and eternal truths. It involves walking by faith and believing in God's sovereignty and promises even in the face of uncertainties and adversities. Dwelling in God's love is closely related to living in the reality of Christ. It's about accepting and reacting to the unwavering love that God has for everyone of us through Jesus Christ. In addition to providing for our needs, this love gives us the ability to live by God's plan and will.” *“As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love ...”* (Jn. 15:9-10). The reality of Christ's second coming however, offers us hope with an eternal perspective. Knowing that, a lovely future awaits people who belong to Christ, gives us the confidence to bear the trials of this life and resist temptations. In the face of adversity, it gives us the courage to cling to our hope because we know that God is working everything out for our benefit. Aligning our lives with timeless truths and accepting the transformative power of His love means living in the reality of Christ.

May we grow in our comprehension of what it means to live in the reality of Christ as we consider these biblical truths, and may it encourage us to live each day with assurance, hope, and steadfast faith in Him in Jesus’ name. *SHALOM*
