Seeing the Spiritual

No doubt, this year is full of many packages of blessing, promotion, breakthrough, etc. However, you need to understand that what you see in this New Year is a determinant of what you get from it. You can hardly get beyond what you see! Do you see opportunities or adversities in this year? It is quite unfortunate that a lot of people run from pillar to post, seeking for prophecies about the New Year. Friend, I ask you, as new as this year is:what do you see?

In this year, it is very expedient that you develop spiritual capacity to see beyond the realm of the ordinary. To be among those who will be sharing their testimonies of exploits at the end of 2023, you need divine insights and revelations. You cannot afford to journey into this New Year casually, or with just your common sense! In Ephesians 1:18, Apostle Paul admonished the church thus: “the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints.” The eyes of your understanding is beyond the physical eyes that aid your sense of sight. You can only see into the supernatural with the eyes of the spirit. Knowledge comes when there is understanding of a matter! If you want to record outstanding miracles in this year, you need a measure of spiritual knowledge about God and His ways. The eyes of your understanding can be enlightened through meditation on the word of God. That is why the Psalmist said “Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path” (Psalms 119:105). God’s word is the source of spiritual illumination, which provides divine direction and guidance. The light of God’s word brings spiritual sight and enlightenment, it gives clarity of purpose and intent. You will struggle less this year when you know what to do, where to go and when to go per time. At the end of this year, you will have excellent results as you walk with spiritual understanding. Daniel and the three Hebrew men were found ten times better in all matters of wisdom and understanding (Daniel 1:20). May your eyes of understanding be enlightened!

Beloved, in the dark moments of this year, you need the scriptures that will shed light on your path, so that you don’t stumble. In this New Year, you also need the word of God as the anchor to hold you during the tempestuous and boisterous storms of life. God bless you richly. SHALOM
