Let Him Guide You

Many have made a lot of very regrettable mistakes as they try to find their ways to success. Many have taken wrong directions that have led them far away from their success destinations. There are those who took certain route thinking it would surely lead them to success only to discover they have made a wrong move. From experience, man generally assumes he knows a lot and does not need anyone to guide him, not even God. This accounts for so many failures in the lives of people.

As you make plans to commence your success journey, it is important to take counsel from God for direction. God knows what is best for you as well as the way you need to follow to get there. This is why it is best to commit your way into His hands, allow Him to take you by the hand and lead you all the way. The Bible says 'Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass' (Ps. 37:5). One thing you must know is that God never makes a mistake and He cannot miss the way. The good thing about letting God guide you is that it saves you from the agony and regrets of a wrong move. In addition, it prevents wasted efforts and helps you to get to the desired destination on time. This, however, does not mean you will not encounter challenges or difficulties on your way. Sometimes, you may have fears and doubts about the way. At other times, the way may look unconventional and unfamiliar. In such times, all you have to do is to keep trusting Him. Be assured that He cannot lead and He will not abandon you along the way. This is why it pays to let Him guide, lead and take you astray there.

Do not follow the easy ways that the devil may point your attention to. Never mind that so many youths of your age are following these ways. The Bible warms that There is a way which seemeth right unto a man but the end thereof are the ways of death" (Prov. 14:12).
