In the Pharmaceutical Sciences, the word ‘dose’ refers to the amount of a medicine or drug that is taken once, or regularly over a period of time. Do you know that the strength of a drug does not lie in its size? The quantity and quality of the active ingredients in a medicine determines its potency or otherwise. Drugs are taken majorly for healing purposes and maintenance of a healthy life. Spiritually, a single dose of action can either make or mar someone’s life.
There are many biblical references of people who either recorded outstanding miracles or met their waterloo by just a single act. Gehazi became leprous due to his single act of covetousness, Saul’s kingdom was rent because of an act of disobedience, Uzzah’s life was cut short by a single act of indiscretion, Zaccheus life took a leap by a singular act of determination, etc. A single look at the brazen serpent in the wilderness restored lives and neutralized the deadly poison of the fiery serpents (Numbers 21:8-9). It takes a single act of faith to bring out the desired miracle from a seemingly irredeemable situation. Yes, it is all it takes to move that seemingly insurmountable mountain of whatever negative situation you are passing through. Just take a single step led by God and walk right into your desired miracle. For instance, by faith, the woman with the issue of blood made one single touch that completely changed her narratives. Just one touch brought an abrupt end to her twelve years of emotional, physical, psychological and economic suffering. You too can have a single dose of His healing, deliverance, lifting, blessing etc., as you touch the helm of His garment. Faith is key to accessing the supernatural! If you can have faith like a mustard seed, your exploits will be unlimited. Also, obedience is necessary for miracles to happen. Remember that a dose of obedience to Prophet Elijah brought abundant provision to the household of the widow of Zarephath (1Kings 17:10-16). While the whole nation languished in hunger, this widow fed adequately as long as the famine lasted. Moreover, a single dose of authority from Jesus Christ brought the violent tide of the stormy sea under calmness. “Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, ‘Peace, be still!’ And the wind ceased and there was a great calm.” (Mark 4:39). No matter the kind of storm in your life today; Jesus Christ will speak peace into it.
