Faith is very crucial and fundamental to the Christian life, it is the connecting rod with the supernatural. It is not an understatement that faith is a major key to enjoying the dividends of being a child of God. Though not seen but yet tangible; faith is substantial, evidential and result-oriented. “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony” (Hebrews 11:1-2).
By the agency and instrumentality of faith, men and women of old walked with God and achieved great feats. A lot of lessons could be learnt from the heroes of faith who accomplished the extraordinary, as written in Hebrews chapter 11. The offerings (praise, worship, prayer, money, gifts, donations, etc.) that we render unto God must be done by faith; otherwise, they are unacceptable to Him. Preservation and salvation await a child of God who walks with Him by faith. God’s promises will come to fulfillment in the lives of those who walk with Him by faith and the seemingly impossibility become a reality. The capacity and efficacy of faith is unlimited, it is like God giving you a blank cheque. The contemporary Christians must cultivate the lifestyle of living by faith, as it is impossible to please God without faith. In addition, anyone who will be a friend of God must forsake the mundane affairs of this world. It is true that we live in an era replete with a lot of side attractions or distractions in the Christian journey. Friend, if you want to keep your faith intact, you must become ‘dead’ to the killers of faith. Apostle Paul declared “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me” (Galatians 2:20). Every child of God must live a life of crucifixion to sin, self and the world! It is only a consecrated, regenerated and transformed life that can live by faith in Christ. What kind of life do you live? Is it a life of faith or doubt? Are you walking with God by faith or by sight? You need to activate your faith to access the supernatural and get your desired results!
Beloved, the first step to walking with God by faith is to become identified with Him. You must come to the knowledge of His dear Son, Jesus Christ. Accept His Lordship today and keep following Him by faith. All things are yours in Christ. God bless you richly. SHALOM
