Blessed be the name of our God for counting us worthy among the living as we enter into a new dispensation in the year 2024. The year is still new and fresh to tap into all that God has in stock for us. Today, we shall be concluding the above topic as we consider our main text: Job 11:16-19, on the remaining illustrative characteristics of a new dispensation.
When you enter into a new dispensation, you will always look younger than your age. God’s glory will continually rub on you and the brightness of your shining will be astonishing. In academics, business, vocation, ministry, etc., you will outshine your peers and colleagues. “And thine age shall be clearer than the noonday; thou shalt shine forth, thou shall be as the morning” (vs. 17). A resident of new dispensation also has divine security which encompasses spiritual, physical, financial, social and emotional security. He has his hope in God, and will not be afraid of the prevailing economic down turn of the nation. “And thou shalt be secure, because there is hope; yea, thou shalt shine forth, thou shalt be as the morning. Also thou shalt lie down, and none shall make thee afraid; yea, many shall make suit unto thee” (vs. 18 &19). I want to assure you that there is hope for you in the Lord this year, despite whatever may be the national or global projections of socio-economic indices
A new dispensation comes with newness of everything, and it is always visible and tangible. The beneficiary will also know it himself or herself, because the testimony will be vividly evidential.
Hear what God said concerning you by the mouth of Prophet Isaiah: “Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert” (Isa. 43:18-19). The above passage succinctly instructed you not to remember the things of the past, neither should you give thought to them. The simple reason is because the Almighty God promised to take you to a new dispensation. He wants you to forget the former things as he will do a new thing in your life this year.
